What do I write about?
It’s awfully hard to sit here and realise that although I’ve probably had the busiest few weeks of my life, and probably spent the most ever time in deep thought and contemplation about many of life’s little quirks, I still can’t find a topic of inspiration to fuel me towards writing another blog post.
I’ve spent a lot of the last few weeks formulating various (very abstract and incomplete) models of general life concepts and principles. From how to lead a life that is balanced with clear personal boundaries, to attempting to define the core-elements that a relationship is actually constructed of (both romantic and platonic relationships). In addition to stemming from my own observations, the majority of my theories integrate the sought opinion of others, my friends and colleagues, to help me understand difficult issues using multiple perspectives.
Unlike many people, I prefer driving in silence. It is the precious silence during my morning and afternoon drive that should really be credited with allowing the opportune time and ideal environment for the best of my inner thoughts to take form.
A close friend offered me a fortune cookie last week at a time I needed it the most. It read “Think like a person of action, act like a person of thought.”
You should try it.
(You should also comment with some of your own thoughts, who knows, it might spark some literary genius that gets this blog up and rolling again).
