Finding The Whole Truth.

10 07 2008

On the day before the worldwide iPhone 3G launch, I thought I’d have a lot to say today. I probably do. But for some reason I just can’t find the energy to dig deep down and bring it all out in this post. All I can say is, Vodafone’s plans are fairly disappointing, Telstra’s remaining silent over plan details is quite stupid and Optus seem to be the leaders in offering a good variety of options for those who want to buy. But as I’ve mentioned already, I probably won’t be purchasing the iPhone 3G and will most likely wait for the next release for an accumulation of reasons.

Interestingly, I’ve heard a rumor that recent disputes between Dick Smith Buyers (the people who buy the products from manufactures for the company to sell) and the Operational & Regional Managers have led to the managers making the somewhat drastic decision to no longer give discounts on Active product lines. Not giving customers discounts on current products will equate to sales hitting rock-bottom. This means that only discontinued and quit stock items will have negotiable prices. If anything, I think they’ll only enforce this for just enough time to make a noticeable dent in sales of the company.

And so yeah, there’s no other news from this homeless blogger, so here’s some Frank Tyger:

“Listening to both sides of a story will convince you that there’s more to a story than both sides.”
