“You Complete Me”

21 07 2008

As the weeks pass, and as you continue to read this blog, you will inevitably come to learn a lot more about me and my thoughts and see each of my highs and lows that are integral to life.

The above video is/was a high. After approximately six years in the making, this was that final rendition of a Drum Performance that was a collaborated effort, composed by myself and good friend, Rob. The final act was called Drum Duel. Watch it and you shall understand why. Listen carefully to the conversation at the beginning to understand the scenario. This was performed in 2006 at the Joan Sutherland Performing Arts Centre, Q-Theatre in Penrith, Sydney. Although many of you have probably already seen it, and were perhaps even there watching it live, I think its great to be able to dwell and be enriched by such vivid past experiences. Let us know what you think in the comments :)

And yes, I admit, it’s been a slow news day, hence the recycled video. Last couple of days haven’t been too eventful, oh except for watching Batman “The Dark Knight” on Saturday night! THAT MOVIE IS AWESOME! Fairly long, but good nevertheless. Heath Ledger’s ‘Joker’ performance was phenomenal. He had come a long way from the days of “10 Things I Hate About You” – the movie that was defiled by High School English.
